• This gorgeous plate is part of the long tradition of Bing & Grondahl "Jule After" (Jule Afren) Christmas plates.  This is the 1978 edition which is a base relief design titled: A Christmas Tale (Julefortelling).  The back stamp has the B&G mark and information about this plate.  B&G started this tradition in 1895 and have continued releasing a new design every year.  These are limited edition plates, after they're issued, the mould is destroyed, they are fine porcelain collector's plates exclusively created by Bing & Grondahl and are highly desired collectibles.  The plate has pre-drilled holes for hanging with wire or you can use a plate hanger/stand.  This is a beautiful tradition which you will enjoy starting, or continue adding to, every year.
